Comments: My husband and I are moving to Costa Rica this summer and once we settle in we are looking to add to our family, we own a maltese, she is 7, and a havanese and she is 5. Do you think it would be wise to get a male this time with my two girls? Love the breed. Thanks debra

Comments: Love Cotons! I have had three so far! All of my Cotons were rescues from Egypt where I lived for 27 years. Seems that a Frenchman brought 6 pairs (12 dogs) to Egypt from Madagascar in the early 80's. These dogs formed the base of the Cotons in Egypt. They are so cute! My present Coton is 17 and is still running around! Great dogs!

Comments: My husband and I met one of your Cotons, Dante, in Minden, Nevada. He played and socialized with our Coton, Gracie, a three year old female. Our Gracie is quite the Tom-boy as she interacts with her Corgi brother and sister. We are smitten with the breed and hope to someday adopt a brother for her. Your dogs are handsome and have a wonderful temperament!
